On March 2, 1836, while General Santa Anna and the Mexican Army were in the final days of the Siege of The Alamo (culminating into the Battle of The Alamo), Texas formally declared their independence from Mexico inside a small building at Washington-on-the-Brazos. In honor of this 180th anniversary, here’s some Texas cars and Texas legends.
Escalades rolling through the Arlington plant
Hook ‘Em
Toyota Tundra, built in San Antonio
Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo
World’s most famous Lambo (dude).
DMC in Humble, Texas
Don’t speed (too much) in Texas
Suck it, Virginia
COTA, with its giant mullet tower
RHP-997
The late John O’Quinn’s car collection, Houston
